Home of the Ground Level 5 inch Gauge Mainline Association. We promote 5" gauge, 1 / inch to one foot scale modelling of British main line railways. ​.


The Blatchington Branch

The line is open to the public three times a year but private visits are welcome to anyone who wishes to take a more serious look.


Wirral Model Engineering Society

Wirral MES is a long established Society with regular meetings and talks. We operate Royden Park Miniature Railways (RPMR) most Sundays & Bank Holidays. These are a combined 3½", 5" & 7¼" Raised Track and a Ground Level 7¼". We were awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2018.


Wortley Top Forge Model Engineers

Wortley Top Forge Model Engineers operate a ground level 5” and 7.25” miniature railway in South Yorkshire. We are open to visitors on Sunday afternoons from March to October.
